BPUK, along with other size acceptance ogranistations was quoted in The Sunday Independent on 30th March 2008 by Susie Mesure.Susie's report was positive and outlining the areas that size acceptance supports. The emphasis was in relation to the size 16 model that has got through in the Miss Great Britain and other plus size models that represent the average size women. However, in so areas size 14 is considered 'plus size'. Some people feel that 'real' plus size women are not being truly, or at all, represented in main areas of UK life. This is evident when the industries standard for plus size is consider nothing over size 18. Some how size 20's and above seem 'invisible' and are not being represented. What are your thoughts on this issue , send your thoughts into BPUK or share them on the Forum. Take a look at the report for yourself
