Marie Parker was refused a job with Translink for having a BMI of 34.1 the cut off point was 33. It was reported that Marie Parker had many years of experience and had, in the past, received commendations from the Department of Transport. People who are fat are coming across discrimination due to their size and not their skills. If all employers in the UK were to adopt this method of recruitment there would be a huge deficit in the work force. This is discrimination and needs to be challenged. What's your views?
