I just saw an article on the BBC web site. There is a company that wants internet users to monitor CCTV cameras and hit a button if they see any crime. The reward - up to £1000 a month. BUT here is the thing - you have to be quick because other people could be monitoring the same thing!

Civil liberties groups hate it. I must admit it sounds a bit dodgy to me.
